Frequently Asked Questions

Who can attend the endoscope repair training?

Anyone with an interest in learning endoscope repair can attend. No prior medical background is required to start. Our students include repair technicians, biomedical engineers, entrepreneurs, career changers, and complete beginners from around the world. The curriculum provides hands-on endoscope repair practice from fundamentals to advanced maintenance techniques.

Who provides international rigid endoscope repair training?

EndoGrup offers certified hands-on training globally for rigid endoscope repair, including semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS), cystoscope, nephroscope, and laparoscope systems. The program is open to participants from all backgrounds seeking international certification, including repair technicians, biomedical engineers, entrepreneurs, and career changers.

What is included in the rigid endoscope repair training course?

Our comprehensive training covers hands-on repair techniques for rigid endoscopes: cystoscope, nephroscope, laparoscope, laryngoscope, and arthroscope devices. Topics include lens replacement, fiber optic maintenance, optical system repair, and troubleshooting. Upon completion, participants receive international certification. Semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS) repair is a separate, separately priced 1-day course.

What does the flexible endoscope repair training course cover?

Our flexible endoscope repair training is a hands-on course of 5 working days per brand covering gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, and duodenoscopes. Participants practice leakage testing, channel replacement, bending rubber replacement, angulation adjustment, insertion tube repair, fiber optic light guide bundle replacement, and CCD chip and electronic board handling. The course is open to participants from all backgrounds.

Do you provide training for URS and Cystoscope devices?

Yes. We provide hands-on training and technical service education for key rigid-device categories including semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS), cystoscope, nephroscope, laparoscope, and other rigid endoscope systems.

What is covered in the flexible URS and cystoscope repair training course?

This 3-day hands-on course teaches repair of flexible ureterorenoscopes (flexible URS) and flexible cystoscopes, including angulation mechanism and wire replacement, bending rubber replacement, NS unit replacement, and image mechanism adjustment. It is a separate course from the 1-day semi-rigid URS training, which focuses on the optics and body of semi-rigid instruments, such as image fibers, objective lenses, and the outer tube.

What is the Refresher Workshop?

The Refresher Workshop is a hands-on follow-up service for graduates of every course. When you run into a device you cannot fix on your own, bring your own faulty endoscope to us in Istanbul and we repair it together at our bench, with your hands doing the work. The workshop is a paid service, you pay the standard service labour plus any parts used, and there is no limit on the number of visits.

Can I get a certificate for endoscope repair?

Yes, EndoGrup provides valid international certification upon successful completion of our comprehensive endoscope repair training courses. Certificates are recognized globally and confirm the practical repair skills the course teaches. We provide our quality and compliance certificates at the client's request.

How long does it take to complete the endoscope repair certification?

Each course has its own fixed length. Rigid endoscope repair training runs for 3 days at 8 hours per day. Semi-rigid ureteroscope (URS) repair training runs for 1 day at 8 hours. Flexible endoscope repair training runs for 5 working days per brand at 8 hours per day. Flexible URS and cystoscope repair training runs for 3 days at 5 hours per day. The certificate is awarded on successful completion, at the end of the course, so the course length is also the time to certification. Courses run on demand, and we arrange the dates together with you.

Is the endoscope repair training available internationally?

Yes, EndoGrup provides international rigid endoscope repair training. Our courses are available globally, and we offer certification programs for participants from all educational and professional backgrounds worldwide.

What brands of endoscopes do you repair?

EndoGrup repairs all endoscope brands including Wolf, Storz, Olympus, Karl Storz, and other manufacturers. We are brand-independent and provide comprehensive repair services for rigid endoscopes.
